photshop design

This is my photshop design of what i want my space to look like, i used photshop to create this because of the effects you can get with the lighting and the colours to really put across how i want my space to look.

How making my final piece is progressing.

Making my final piece is progressing well, so far i have made and painted all of the outer box for the space which took a long time but i feel looking at them i have used the right scale as i have used 1:20 scale. I have started to make the circular pods for the space which are proving more difficult to make as i have had think of a material which is suitable to make the pods out of. The material i have decided to use is paper machet, the matrial has proved quite tricky to use but when its finished i feel the effect it gives will be worth it.

Vectorworks and photoshop

During the last week or so i have been working on my vectorworks plans, creating improved floor plans, side elevations and 3d plans for my space. These new vectorworks pieces are much improved on my first attempts. I have also done a 3d plan of my room in photoshop so i could portray the right lighting effects that the real piece will have.

test/ sketch model

This is a sketch model i created, the idea of the model was to see if the light inside the box would illuminate the space as   this is my general concept for my space. when the model is in the dark it really works and looks very effective.
